Basics
Each character is built from six customizable Aspects. Aspects determine your character's traits, from usable weapons, armor, spells, and other abilities. All character may use a single weapon of up to 18”; all other abilities come from Aspects chosen when the character first enters the Realms. A maximum of one Aspect may be switched for another at the beginning of any event thereafter. All players must have a sheet listing their character's six Aspects, as well as their player and character name. This sheet must be on their person at all times and checked in at the beginning of each event.
All players are responsible for knowing how the Aspect system works, specifically the spells and abilities which they can use. A player who misuses his spells is not allowed to claim ignorance as an excuse.
Choosing Aspects
At a character's first event, the player chooses and checks in the six Aspects of that character. At check-in of any subsequent event, the player may choose to exchange one Aspect on their current list for a new Aspect. The resulting Aspect choice must be legal.
Fighter Option
Rather than choosing any Aspects, a character may opt to be considered a Fighter. This means he/she may use any weapon combination and wear any armor, as if the character had two Armor Proficiency Aspects and four Weapon Proficiency Aspects. Additionally, this character is not required to have a sheet detailing Aspect choices.
